Thermal Relaxation with Potential
The best part of our stay was unwinding in the thermal pool after a day exploring Rotorua's geothermal wonders. The owners were incredibly helpful and attentive, making our experience even better.

The deluxe studio was comfortable, well-appointed, and I appreciated the fact that it had free, fast wifi. The staff provided a warm welcome and assisted with our laundry, which was promptly returned, washed and folded. The proximity to nearby parks with geothermal features added a unique charm to the location. the description of the room mentioned a dining table, but instead, there were only stools by a breakfast bar. The noise insulation left much to be desired. I could hear conversations from neighboring rooms quite clearly. Another minor issue was the 2% fee for credit card payments, which felt a bit unexpected.

The thermal pool is a decent size and has a unique charm, offering a nice option for relaxation. The rooms are generally well-furnished and spacious enough to accommodate a family comfortably, featuring adequate kitchen facilities for meal prep.
The maintenance leaves something to be desired. our patio area was overgrown and unkempt, which diminished the outdoor experience. The soundproofing is terrible—thin walls allowed every scream from the kids playing outside to be heard, and any noise from neighboring units felt intrusive. The internet connection was a hassle. we struggled to log on for quite some time due to incorrect passwords. the parking situation is chaotic, making maneuvering challenging after dark.

Solo traveler best winter escape
The lady running the place was super helpful always sharing places to check out and places to eat. After a long day exploring I really loved just relaxing in the mineral pool it was so much better than Budapest those fancy pools.
It wasn't inexpensive but for what you get it's more than reasonable.
